During this uncertain and unprecedented time, Mind in Tower Hamlets and Newham are still here to support you. As the UK is on lockdown following the rise of COVID-19 and we are being asked to stay at home, all of the resources we are signposting you to will be online/telephone. 

This might feel like a difficult of stressful time but there are a lot of things you can try that could help your wellbeing – please remember that we are all in this together and we are endeavouring to support you through this time as best we possibly can.

MITHN COVID- 19 Wellbeing and Connections Service

Mind in Tower Hamlets and Newham are delivering an out of hours COVID Wellbeing and Connection’s service to people who are isolated and lonely and maybe struggling with their wellbeing or people who have been recently bereaved during this COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown. The aim of the services is to keep people connected with services and support as early possible to prevent their mental health from deteriorating.

We offer telephone 1:1’s and group wellbeing sessions including:   

– Mindfulness

– Meditation

– Check in’s

– Peer to peer befriending

– Connection and navigation to stepped up support and day time activities

– Peer to peer weekly wellbeing group

– Access to a monthly virtual cafe
