What is Advocacy?
Advocacyis a support service which can help people to express their views, secure their rights, represent their interests and obtain services they need.
Advocates work in partnership with the people they support and take their side. Advocacy promotes social inclusion, equality and social justice.
Who do we help?
This service is available to anyone living in Havering who have the right to Statutory Advocacy.
Our Advocacy Services provides statutory advocacy including:
Independent Mental Health Advocacy - Information resource
Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy - Information Resource
DOL's and Relevant Person Representative - Information Resource
NHS complaints Advocacy - Information Resource
Care Act Advocacy - Information Resource

Our advocates can help you get your views across where you are finding it difficult to be heard.
Due to our funding we are restricted to working with clients who live in Havering and who require the above services. If Mind in Tower Hamlets and Newham is not the provider of the service you require we will be happy to signpost you to the correct service.
