Christmas Gift in a Box
We are looking for your support this year for our Christmas Gift in a Box. Many of our clients are isolated and alone at Christmas and many do not have close family and friends to this year we are asking our supporters to put together a Christmas In A Box gift. This can be anything (not perishable) such as smellies, book, calendar, mug, scarf and gloves or any small items which you would be able to spare.
Put the items in a shoe box, wrap up and label if it for a man/woman or either. If you can deliver to our main office by the 15th December that will be fantastic.

Annual General Meeting 2019
We were delighted to welcome over 60 people to our AGM this year. We had the opportunity to hear from some of our Creative Writers who read some of their fabulous work. We also had an uplifting and motivational speaker called Augusto D. Mello who talked about living an ‘Extraordinary Life’ that survival was not enough, about being ‘Radical about your own wellbeing’ and about hope.
We were delighted to present our new Annual Report as well as launch our new Website – www.mithn.org.uk and to talk about our new and exciting project called Safe Space Community which will soon be launched.
We were happy to report a successful year with regard to our finances with a £16,000 surplus.
Thank you to those who came out on the cold November evening and for our staff, volunteers, peer workers, sessional staff and trustees, without whom we could not deliver such a wide range of fantastic services.

ELBA Board Match event
Mind in Tower Hamlets and Newham were delighted to be part of the ELBA BoardMatch8 event last night. We had the opportunity to pitch for new Trustee members from a group of 250 interested potential trustees. An excellent event, which will hopefully attract new people to join our board of trustees.
