Counselling Service Manager – Talking Therapy Services

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of a Counselling Service Manager role, where you will join our dynamic and diverse team of staff to support Talking Therapy services across Tower Hamlets and Newham. The ideal candidate will share our vision and future ambitions to help us achieve our goals.

The role requires a high level of professionalism, strong leadership, and excellent organisational and management skills.  You must be able to coordinate and oversee the provision of Talking Therapy including bereavement support in line with contracts’ KPIs. You will also need to have a good understanding of the range of therapeutic modalities provided to oversee the capacity planning, including the selection and recruitment of counsellors, and Talking Therapy trainees.

MITHN is a BACP accredited service and operates in line with the BACP Ethical Framework for the Talking therapy Professions as well as NICE guidelines.
