Do you have something to say, but feel like no one is listening?

Mind in Tower Hamlets and Newham Advocacy Service can help you…

What is Advocacy?

Advocacy is helping people to

  • express their views,

  • secure their rights,

  • represent their interests and

  • obtain services they need.

Advocates work in partnership with the people they support and take their side. Advocacy promotes social inclusion, equality and social justice.

Who do we help?

Our Advocacy Services provide both statutory and non-statutory advocacy.

We provide

  • independent care act advocacy (ICAA) to eligible clients in Tower Hamlets.

  • independent mental health advocacy (IMHA) in Tower Hamlets

  • independent NHS complaints advocacy (ICA) in Newham.

  • Independent Adolescent Advocacy  in Newham

  • community advocacy for people with mental health issues in Tower Hamlets

Our advocates can help you get your views across in any situation where you are finding it difficult to be heard.

Due to our funding we are restricted to working with clients who live in Tower Hamlets or Newham and who require the above services.  If Mind in Tower Hamlets and Newham is not the provider of the service you require we will be happy to signpost you to the correct service.
