TOWER HAMLETS
The welfare rights project supports those residents of Tower Hamlets with mental health problems. We give advice on benefit entitlements and housing issues. We can assist in making appeals and support clients with benefit claims. We take self-referrals or referrals from carers, workers etc.
The service is operated on an appointment system. Anyone wanting an appointment should ring the office on 020 7510 1081 during Monday to Friday between 10.00am to 5.00pm to request an appointment. Or you can drop in on a Monday or Thursday 10-12a.m. to see an advisor. Depending on the nature of the issue you may be given an additional appointment to deal with your advice issue.
We also offer telephone advice during the office hours stated above. We will sign post clients if a specialist advice agency or solicitor is required.
